Actiphons and Professional sports clubs are teaming up to create an initiative which will INSPIRE young and FUTURE FANS to READ and learn their PHONICS in a fun and active way; Creating a more ACTIVE READING CULTURE through the POWER OF SPORT- In this BEYOND MATCHDAY APPROACH!
Aiming to help the:
- 1 in 5 Children failing their phonics screening tests
- 1 in 3 Children leaving Primary School obese/ overweight
- 2 in 3 Children and young people not enjoying reading in their free time
OUR PHONICS FOR FANS EXPERIENCE INCLUDES:
3 uniquely presented YOUTUBE shows will be recorded, starring your CLUB MASCOT/ PAST/ PRESENT PLAYER along with a SELECTION OF CHILDREN from your community. Each episode will feature a different sport, letter and sound along introduced by one of the Actiphon characters. CPD Training will also be delivered to all your CCO TEAM so they can confidently deliver the programme to the community whilst generating an additional revenue stream. From here we dual brand a variety of EDUCATIONAL RESOURCES that can can be sold online and in your CLUB SHOP for further income generation.
